To fill the PowderPerfekt® unit unscrew the canister, remove the diffuser and fill with your favorite powder to a level just below the diffuser .  Then replace the diffuser. A LITTLE POWDER GOES A LONG WAY.

The filtered dry air syringe nozzle is fitted into the PowderPerfekt® Instrument and secured with the black thumbscrew.

Powder flow is instantly controlled by thumb pressure on the filtered dry air syringe button.  If your airline pressure is greater than 60psi, make sure the diffuser is in place.  With the diffuser in place the powder flow will be restricted, thus eliminating any problems with the flow of powder. 

The outlet nozzle can be rotated to accommodate any area of the mouth.  It can also be removed with a twisting pull, for cleaning and sterilization.  This device works perfectly, only when kept clean.

The PowderPerfekt® can be cleaned, by removing the canister and blowing air through the beveled exit tube opening.  With canister and nozzle removed, clear all powder build  up from passages with the brush and probe provided.  Make this a regular service, because cleanliness means constant success. Tapping the powder container occasionally helps to settle the powder below the diffuser. This makes for greater efficiency.  The additional nozzle provided enables you to have constant use of your PowderPerfekt unit.

The dry air syringe is perfectly suited for the following procedure.  With use of the rubber hose adapter and the access® tip, this syringe has unlimited uses in any procedure that requires dry clean filtered air!  It is excellent for cleaning powder out of the interproximal surfaces and the sulcus.  Changing from the dry air syringe to powdering only takes a couple of seconds.  Periodically, change the cotton roll in syringe handle.  Disconnect from air source first.

The unit should be stored upright.  The air syringe will fit into any standard air hand piece holder available from your dental supplier.
